Health Services for Children with Special Needs Inc (HSCSN) would like to inform you about a healthy nutrition program. We know that making healthy food decisions can be hard. That’s why we are excited to announce that HSCSN and Foodsmart have teamed up to offer a FREE nutrition program to teach healthy habits that last a lifetime! Foodsmart offers virtual visits with a registered dietitian (nutrition expert) and the use of technology (smartphone app) for nutrition advice.

With Foodsmart, enrollees can:

  • Receive up to 12 virtual visits with a Registered Dietitian per year. Additional visits can be covered with prior authorization.
  • Get tips on eating well while learning how to plan healthy meals on a budget.
  • Get help with grocery shopping and the use of delivery services. The cost of groceries and delivery are the responsibility of the enrollee.
  • Compare prices and find deals to save money on groceries.
  • Access budget-friendly recipes to create enjoyable meals.
  • Build a relationship with their dietitian to support them along their journey, answer their nutrition-related questions, and celebrate their success.
