Michael A. Jones currently serves as the Vice Chairman and Managing Director, North America for Ranpak Holdings (NYSE: PACK) since September 2019. Prior, Jones was a board member with One Madison Group (NYSE: OMAD), New York. One Madison Group combined with Ranpak in the summer of 2019. Jones also served as EVP and Chief Customer Officer of Lowe’s Companies, Inc. from May 2014 through October 2016. In this role, Jones was responsible for store environment, merchandising, customer experience, marketing, strategy and research for Lowe’s U.S. stores operations. Prior to this role, Jones served as SVP and Chief Merchandising Officer for Lowe’s.
Mr. Jones also previously served as Head of Business Unit Americas and Executive Vice President at Husqvarna AB from June 2011 to January 2013. In this role, Jones led sales, service and manufacturing operations for Husqvarna’s North and Latin American businesses. Prior, Mr. Jones served as Head of Sales and Service for North and Latin America at Husqvarna AB. Jones’ early career was with General Electric. He served as the General Manager of Cooking Products within the Appliance Division from June 2007 to October 2009. From 1994 to 2007, Jones held various leadership positions within GE in Sales, Service, Product Management and International Business, including Chief Commercial Officer for Europe, Middle East and Africa. In this role, Jones and his family lived abroad in Central Europe. Jones is currently on the Board of Johnson C. Smith University (Charlotte, NC) and Children’s National (Washington, DC). Mr. Jones received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from California Coast University in Santa Ana, California, and completed Yale University’s Executive Business Management Program. Jones and his wife, Shanon, founded Jones Holding Corporation in 2017. JHC invests in small cap businesses with manufacturing operations and strong on-line capabilities. They currently live in Charlotte with their two sons.
